  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we process depends on how you use the application.

There are two primary roles:

User Shop Owner

The information collected for these roles may differ.

  1. INFORMATION RELATING TO NORMAL USERS

Our normal User experience is designed to minimize personal information collection.

We do not require a normal User to provide personal business information simply to browse the local shop directory.

Depending on the actual features and permissions you use, the application may process certain technical, authentication, location, or device-related information necessary to operate the application.

We do not intentionally collect unnecessary personal information from normal Users.

  1. USER PROFILE INFORMATION

If the application provides a local user profile, a User may be able to provide or select information such as:

Local profile name Local profile photo

The profile information that is intended to remain local to the device is not intentionally uploaded to our Firestore database.

  1. USER PROFILE PHOTO

The normal User’s personal profile photo is designed to remain local on the user’s device.

The User profile photo is not intentionally uploaded to:

Firebase Firestore Firebase Storage Our shop database Public shop listings

The photo is used locally to display the User’s profile within the application.

If the User removes the profile photo, the local copy may be removed from the device according to the application’s implementation.

  1. SHOP OWNER INFORMATION

If you choose to register as a Shop Owner, additional information is required because a shop listing needs to be identified, managed, and verified.

Shop Owner information may include:

Owner name Mobile phone number Email address Shop name Shop category Shop address Street or locality Village Shop location Latitude and longitude Opening time Closing time Weekly opening hours Shop photographs Shop business information Account authentication information Shop verification status Verification-related information Rejection reason, where applicable

We use this information only for legitimate application-related purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. SHOP OWNER EMAIL ADDRESS

A Shop Owner may be required to provide an email address.

The email address may be used for:

Account authentication Account identification Account security Email verification where applicable Verification-related communication Important account-related communication Recovery or account-management functionality where supported

The email address is not collected for the purpose of selling it to advertisers.

We do not sell Shop Owner email addresses to third parties for advertising.

Authentication information is handled through the application’s authentication infrastructure, including Firebase Authentication where configured.

  1. SHOP OWNER MOBILE NUMBER

A Shop Owner may provide a mobile number during shop registration.

The mobile number may be used for:

Identifying the Shop Owner Shop registration Verification Account management Business contact functionality Preventing fraudulent or duplicate registrations Communication related to the registered shop

Whether the mobile number is publicly displayed depends on the application’s shop-listing design and the information selected for public display.

  1. SHOP INFORMATION

A Shop Owner may submit information about their business, including:

Shop name Business category Address Locality/street Village Business hours Shop location Shop images Contact information Other information required for shop verification

Some of this information may become publicly visible after the shop has been successfully verified.

  1. PUBLIC SHOP INFORMATION

Ghodi Bachhera is a local shop-discovery platform.

Once a shop is verified, certain business information may be displayed to application users.

Depending on the application’s actual implementation, publicly visible information may include:

Shop name Shop category Shop address Village/locality Shop location Shop business images Opening hours Open/Closed status Shop contact number Owner name, where the application intentionally displays it

We do not intend to make private authentication credentials or passwords publicly available.

  1. SHOP VERIFICATION

A Shop Owner’s submission may initially have a status such as:

PENDING

An authorized administrator reviews the submitted information.

The shop may then become:

VERIFIED

or:

REJECTED

A shop may also be administratively:

SUSPENDED

if appropriate under the application’s rules.

Only shops that satisfy the application’s public-listing requirements should be displayed to normal Users.

  1. VERIFICATION INFORMATION

Information submitted for verification may be used to:

Confirm that the shop information is reasonably complete Identify the Shop Owner Review the business listing Prevent fraudulent registrations Prevent duplicate or misleading listings Approve or reject a shop Maintain the integrity of the local shop directory

Verification does not necessarily mean that Ghodi Bachhera guarantees the quality, legality, safety, pricing, or performance of any product or service offered by a listed business.

  1. SHOP REJECTION

If a shop is rejected, an authorized administrator may record a rejection reason.

Possible reasons may include:

Incomplete information Incorrect information Duplicate listing Invalid shop details Unclear or inappropriate business image Inability to reasonably verify the submitted information Violation of application rules

The rejection reason may be shown to the Shop Owner where supported by the application.

  1. SHOP SUSPENSION

A verified shop may be suspended or removed from public visibility when appropriate.

Suspension is separate from the Shop Owner’s Open/Closed status.

For example:

Open/Closed status indicates the operational status selected by the Shop Owner.

Suspended status is an administrative status.

These are not the same thing.

  1. OPEN/CLOSED SHOP STATUS

The Shop Owner may be able to mark the registered shop as:

Open

or

Closed

This information is used to help Users understand the shop’s current self-reported operating status.

The Open/Closed status does not necessarily guarantee that the physical shop is actually open at that exact moment.

Ghodi Bachhera is not responsible for temporary changes in shop operating hours.

  1. LOCATION / GPS INFORMATION

The application may request access to the device’s location when you use location-based functionality such as:

Nearby shops Map functionality Location-based shop discovery Directions Location-related features

Location information is treated as sensitive information.

The application requests location permission only when the relevant feature requires it.

  1. HOW LOCATION INFORMATION IS USED

Location may be used to:

Determine nearby shops Display your approximate position on a map Calculate proximity to shops Support directions or map functionality Improve the usefulness of location-based discovery

The exact handling of location depends on the implementation of the feature.

If location is processed only on the device and is not stored in our database, it will not be treated as a permanently stored User profile attribute.

If a future version changes how location is processed or stored, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

  1. LOCATION PERMISSION

You may deny location permission.

If you deny location access:

Nearby functionality may not work correctly Location-based features may be unavailable Map-related features that require your current location may be limited

The core shop directory may continue to work where location is not required.

  1. NOTIFICATION PERMISSION

The application may request notification permission.

Notifications may be used for legitimate application purposes such as:

Important account information Shop verification-related information Shop status information Important application updates Other relevant service notifications

You can control notification permissions through Android system settings where supported.

We do not use notification permission as permission to read your private notifications from other applications.

  1. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT FROM OTHER APPLICATIONS

Ghodi Bachhera does not need access to the contents of your:

Instagram messages WhatsApp messages SMS messages Email messages Other application notifications Private conversations

The notification permission, where requested, is intended for notifications generated by Ghodi Bachhera and does not mean that we can read private content from other applications.

  1. CAMERA / IMAGE ACCESS

If the application requests access to images or the camera for shop-related functionality, that access is used only for the feature requiring it.

For Shop Owners, shop images may be selected or captured for submission as business images.

A normal User’s personal profile photo remains local according to the application’s intended implementation.

  1. SHOP IMAGES

Shop business images are different from personal User profile photos.

Shop Owners may provide images representing their business.

These images may be processed, compressed, and stored as part of the shop’s Firestore record according to the application’s architecture.

Shop images associated with a verified shop may be displayed to application Users.

Shop Owners should only upload images that they have the right to use.

  1. FIREBASE SERVICES

Ghodi Bachhera uses Firebase services as part of its application infrastructure.

Depending on the application’s configuration, these services may include:

Firebase Authentication Cloud Firestore Other Firebase services required for application functionality

Firebase Authentication may process account-related information such as a user’s authentication identifier and email address where applicable.

Cloud Firestore is used to store application data required for the shop directory and related functionality.

Firebase provides authentication and security mechanisms that can be combined with Firestore Security Rules to restrict access to data.

  1. CLOUD FIRESTORE

Cloud Firestore is used as the application’s database for relevant application information.

Depending on role and functionality, Firestore may contain information such as:

Shop information Shop owner information Verification status Shop location Shop operating hours Shop images Shop status Account-related application information

Access to Firestore data is controlled using authentication and security rules.

We do not intend to make private database records publicly accessible.

  1. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against:

Unauthorized access Unauthorized disclosure Unauthorized alteration Unauthorized destruction Accidental loss

Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules are used as part of the application’s access-control architecture where applicable.

However, no Internet transmission, cloud service, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. ACCESS CONTROL

Different users have different access rights.

A normal User should not have administrative access to Shop Owner information or administrative verification functions.

A Shop Owner should generally be able to manage only the shop associated with their authenticated account, subject to the application’s security rules.

Administrative actions such as verification, rejection, and suspension are restricted to authorized administrators.

Firebase recommends using Authentication together with Firestore Security Rules for authenticated and role-based access control.

  1. PASSWORDS

We do not intend to store user passwords directly in the application’s Firestore shop database.

Where Firebase Authentication is used, authentication credentials are handled through Firebase Authentication rather than being manually stored in shop documents.

Users should never provide their password to another person claiming to represent Ghodi Bachhera.

  1. DATA SHARING

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share or allow access to information with service providers necessary to operate the application.

For example, Firebase services may process information as part of providing authentication, database, security, hosting, or related infrastructure.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

Comply with applicable law Respond to lawful requests Protect users Prevent fraud Protect the security of the application Enforce our Terms & Conditions Protect our legal rights

  1. PUBLIC BUSINESS INFORMATION VS PRIVATE INFORMATION

We distinguish between:

Business information

Information intentionally provided for a public shop listing may become visible to Users after verification.

Private account information

Authentication credentials and other information not intended for public display should remain protected by appropriate access controls.

We do not intentionally publish private passwords or authentication credentials.

  1. ADMIN ACCESS

Authorized administrators may access Shop Owner information when necessary to:

Review shop applications Verify shop information Reject inappropriate or incomplete submissions Investigate suspected fraudulent listings Manage shop status Respond to support requests Maintain the integrity of the application

Administrative access should be limited to legitimate operational purposes.

  1. ADMINISTRATION AND AUDIT RECORDS

Where administrative activity logging is implemented, the application may record information about administrative actions such as:

Shop approval Shop rejection Shop suspension Shop re-enablement Verification status changes

Such records may include administrative identifiers, shop identifiers, action type, reason, and timestamp.

These records are used for security, accountability, and application management.

  1. DATA RETENTION

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

Providing application functionality Managing accounts Managing shop listings Verification Security Fraud prevention Resolving disputes Maintaining administrative records Complying with legal obligations

Retention periods may vary depending on the type and purpose of the information.

  1. ACCOUNT DELETION

If the application allows account creation, Users and Shop Owners should have a clear method to request deletion of their account and associated data.

Account deletion should not simply mean temporarily disabling or freezing the account.

When a valid deletion request is processed, associated personal information should be deleted unless there is a legitimate reason to retain specific information, such as:

Legal obligations Fraud prevention Security Dispute resolution Required administrative records

Google Play requires apps that allow account creation to provide an accessible account-deletion mechanism both within the app and through an external web resource.

  1. SHOP OWNER ACCOUNT DELETION

When a Shop Owner requests account deletion, the deletion process may involve both:

The authentication account Associated shop/business data

Where legally and technically appropriate, associated personal information will be deleted.

Certain records may need to be retained for legitimate reasons, which will be disclosed where applicable.

Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that every piece of information can be immediately removed if retention is legally required.

  1. USER LOCAL PROFILE PHOTO DELETION

Because the normal User profile photo is designed to remain local to the device, its deletion may be performed directly within the application.

Removing the local profile photo does not require a server-side database deletion when no server copy exists.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Ghodi Bachhera is not specifically designed as a child-directed application.

We do not knowingly seek to collect unnecessary personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable requirements, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

We will review the matter and take appropriate action where required.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The application may use third-party infrastructure and services necessary for operation.

Examples may include:

Third-party services operate according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We encourage users to review the relevant third-party privacy documentation.

  1. FIREBASE SECURITY

We use authentication and database security controls appropriate to the application’s architecture.

Firestore data should be protected through Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules.

We do not intentionally configure production Firestore access as publicly readable/writable without appropriate authorization.

Firebase specifically recommends Security Rules for protecting client-accessible Firestore data.

  1. DEVICE INFORMATION

The application and its underlying services may automatically process certain technical information necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

Depending on the Firebase SDKs and other components actually included in the application, this may include information such as:

App version Device/OS information Authentication identifiers Technical diagnostic information Network-related information Crash or performance information where a relevant service is enabled

We do not intentionally collect device information beyond what is reasonably necessary for application functionality, security, and maintenance.

  1. ANALYTICS

If analytics services are not enabled in the production application, we do not represent that analytics data is being collected.

If analytics are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated where required.

  1. ADVERTISING

the Shop Owner should update the information where the application allows it.

  1. FRAUD PREVENTION

We may process information for the purpose of preventing:

Fake shop registrations Duplicate listings Misleading information Unauthorized shop registrations Abuse of the application Security threats

This is necessary to maintain the reliability of the local shop directory.

  1. USER RESPONSIBILITY

Users should understand that information displayed about a shop may have been submitted by the Shop Owner.

Although verification procedures may be used, Ghodi Bachhera does not guarantee that every piece of business information will always remain accurate or current.

Users should independently confirm important information before relying on it.

  1. SHOP OWNER RESPONSIBILITY

Shop Owners are responsible for:

Providing accurate information Providing authorized business information Uploading lawful images Keeping business information updated Maintaining account security Using the application according to the Terms & Conditions

  1. INFORMATION DISPLAYED TO OTHER USERS

Therefore, information intentionally submitted for public shop listing may be visible to other application Users after verification.

Shop Owners should not submit private information into public-facing shop fields.

  1. DATA TRANSFERS

Because we use cloud infrastructure and third-party service providers, information may be processed on systems or in locations outside the user’s immediate physical location.

We use appropriate service providers and security controls intended to protect information during processing.

  1. DATA BREACH / SECURITY INCIDENTS

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will evaluate the incident and take steps required by applicable law and our operational procedures.

Where legally required, affected users or relevant authorities may be notified.

These may include:

Location Notifications Camera Photos/media access

If you disable a required permission, the corresponding feature may not function correctly.

Disabling location may prevent:

Nearby functionality Current-location map functionality Some directions/location features

from functioning properly.

  1. NOTIFICATION PERMISSION CONTROL

Disabling notifications may mean that you do not receive certain application updates or account-related notifications.

  1. SECURITY OF SHOP IMAGES

Shop images are handled as business listing content.

We take reasonable measures to restrict unauthorized modification or access.

However, once an image has been intentionally made part of a public verified shop listing, it may be viewable by other application Users.

  1. INFORMATION WE DO NOT SELL
